And if I close my eyes 
And recall a summer’s day 
A sunny day in June 
Just after the month of May 
 
I recall a day so perfect 
The world could have stopped 
Time could have stood still 
And it would have been my will 
 
For to see you for the first time 
And realise who you were 
For all my dreams and realities 
To merge into one long constant blur 
 
To know such happiness 
To feel such total bliss 
To hold you in my arms 
To seal your tender kiss
